Activities will include wildlife spotting, oyster farm tour with unlimited oyster tasting, private barrel tastings, narrated historic tours, iconic central coast back roads and camping on a private cattle ranches.

Meet Your Guide and Your Chef
NATHAN STUART
Moving to Mexico at age 18, he traveled extensively through Baja and Central Mexico for 12 years. Now 41, Nathan has 23 years of experience traveling and overlanding throughout Mexico and Central America. He learned how to move comfortably through foreign & developing countries. In 2021 he returned to Mexico full time to co- found and guide with Legends Overlanding. Nathan is also fluent in Spanish, obsessed with Baja history, and his life’s goal is to spend as much time as possible exploring every mile of the West’s most wild places.
ALEX BURGOS

Alex grew up and studied in Ensenada, Baja California getting a degree in culinary arts. He then went on to work in Valle Guadalupe, Cabo San Lucas, Mexico City, Guadalajara, Spain, and Columbia. Now, back in Ensenada, Alex is part of the Legends Overlanding staff as our in-camp Chef. He will be helping us experience the places we visit through taste with the amazing cuisine he prepares for us daily!

SCHEDULE
DAY 1
GET TO THE RANCH
Our adventure will begin at 9 am at the Hitching Post Tasting Room in Buellton, California. Meet the winemaker who made some of the wines we will have for dinner. Drive on the beach in Pismo then over the High Mountain road to Pozo Saloon and finally our camp. Dinner under the stars on the 8,000 acre Avenales Ranch with Daniel Sinton the owner and operator. We will be tasting through his wines and serving the amazing grass fed beef raised on his family ranch
DAY 2
OUT TO THE COAST AND BACK
Up early for coffee and breakfast, then off to see more of the Central Coast. Over the grade towards San Luis Obispo we will explor Montaña de Oro a State Park having lunch on the beach before heading back to the ranch for another amazing dinner with a local wine maker.
DAY 3
TABLAS CREEK AND THE NORTH COAST
Leaving the inland valleys we will head to the Adelaida district in the coastal foothills, home to some of the best wines on the Central Coast. Chelsea Franchi assistent winemaker at Tablas Creek will be teaching us some of the processes for making the wines we will pair with our dinner. Chelsea will be joining us in camp on the beach to walk us through more of Tablas Creeks amazing wines.
DAY 4
INTO THE PINES
Breakfast in camp with a spectacular view of the ocean, then out for an easy morning hike before we drive up the coast to the southern end of Big Sur. Back at camp Daniel Callan owner of Slamdance Kooperative will be tasting us through his wines before pairing them with Alex’s amazing food at dinner.
DAY 5
SAYING GOODBYE
Breakfast in Camp and a packed lunch to go. We have one more fun activity and we expect to be wrapping up after lunch around 2 pm. We will say our goodbyes and start planning the next adventure!
