ROAM N' RIDE: VERMONT WITH FERNWEH GUIDED EXPEDITIONS

Get ready for three unforgettable days in Vermont’s Green Mountains — where crisp air, fiery foliage, and epic trails come together for one hell of an autumn adventure.

TRIP OVERVIEW

Vermont’s Green Mountains

Ride with legends. Roam with purpose.

Whether you’re leaf-peeping from the driver’s seat of your van or chasing downhill mountain biking thrills, this weekend is designed for riders and roamers. We’ll basecamp just outside the charming town of Killington and roam through some of Vermont’s most beautiful places — from purpose-built bike trails to winding country roads.

Joining us during the weekend:
  • Brice Shirbach, a Pivot Cycles athlete, pro rider, and storyteller with 13+ years of professional experience exploring trails across North America.
  • Joe Gaynor, Programs & Partnerships Director at Vermont Mountain Biking Association (VMBA), who brings trail knowledge and deep Vermont roots.

Choose Your Own Adventure -
Ride or Roam

This trip offers two equally unforgettable ways to experience Vermont: on the trail or on the road. One group will join Brice for guided and instructional mountain biking through some of the nation’s best singletrack, tackling purpose-built trails and playful descents around Killington and Woodstock.

The other group will explore the region’s scenic backroads and natural gems — from short hikes along the Appalachian Trail and Green Mountain National Forest, to visits at legendary maple syrup farms, to peaceful drives beneath golden canopies. Whether you’re carving turns or sipping cider, this weekend delivers peak fall vibes your way.
