6-Day Baja Adventure with Legends Overlanding
SCHEDULE

Day 1
Pacific Cliffs South of Ensenada
-
Kickoff just below Ensenada where the rugged coastline drops into the Pacific.
-
Dusty trails lead us to isolated coves and cliffside vistas.
-
Evening: wine tasting and first gourmet dinner by our chef, paired with Baja’s own Valle de Guadalupe vintages.
-
Camp: oceanfront, falling asleep to crashing waves.

Day 2
Remote Coastline to San Vicente
- Hug the Pacific, crossing ranchland and fishing villages.
- Stop for a seaside lunch with fresh-caught seafood.
- Continue south on dirt tracks that see more cows than cars.
- Camp: tucked dunes near San Vicente, with a sunset beach fire and chef-prepared carne asada feast.

Day 3
Into San Pedro Mártir Sierras
-
Leave the coast and climb into the granite spines of San Pedro Mártir.
-
Trail winds past ranchos into the high country.
-
Camp: 8,000 ft under a blanket of stars, pine smoke curling from the fire. This is Baja’s astronomy capital - clear skies, no light pollution.
-
Dinner: hearty mountain fare - braised short ribs with local herbs and Baja red wine.

Day 4
Descent to San Quintín Peninsula
- Drop out of the pines back into coastal desert.
- Roll south onto the San Quintín peninsula - volcanic peaks rising out of tide flats.
- Afternoon panga ride to offshore islands: sea lions, bird cliffs, kelp forests.
- Camp: seaside with volcanic backdrop. Chef highlights local oysters and craft beer from San Quintín.

Day 5
Northbound Return, Sierra Juárez
-
Begin the climb back inland.
-
Dirt tracks twist through canyons and oak valleys as we approach Sierra Juárez.
-
Camp near alpine meadows of Laguna Hanson, ringed by granite boulders and tall pines.
-
Dinner: Baja-fusion comfort - slow-roasted lamb with foraged herbs, paired with crisp white wine.

Day 6
Laguna Hanson & Farewell
- Morning hike around Laguna Hanson. Granite domes, high desert light, and reflections off the water.
- Leisurely brunch by the lake - fresh tortillas, chilaquiles, and local coffee.
- Scenic descent back toward the border. Farewell hugs, dusty rigs, and full bellies.

TESTIMONIAL
"Highly Recommend!"
"Legends Overlanding is a great guide service and Nathan the head guide is a knowledgeable, patient and experienced leader. We had some very adverse and unexpected conditions on our trip but nothing was beyond Nathan's abilities. On top of it all, he is a really fun person! Highly recommended."
